  • 30 March 2015: For those who would not join the graduation but would be considered as graduate for 2nd Semester SY 2014-2015.

Simpas, Chair of the Department of Physics, will be away from September 1 to 5, 2014 to present Philippine research contributions to aerosol research at the 7-SEAS Plenary Project Organizational and Planning Workshop to be held in Citeko, West Java, Indonesia.

During his absence, Dr. Raphael A. Guerrero, Associate Professor, will be Officer-in-Charge of the Department.

1. 6:00 – 7:15am Drop-off of 4,149 Grade School Student (less 502 prep & Grade 1 PM) for 7:15am Flag Raising
2. 6:30 – 7:45am Arrival of 2,413 HS student for 7:45am Flag Raising
3. 7:00 – 7:30am Arrival of 2,114 LS freshmen and 500 upperclassmen for 7:30am registration at college covered court
4. 8:00 – LS 1st Semester Registration

  5. Left at Parade Loop
  6. Proceed to campus exit

Ateneo Freshman Merit scholars reception

I would like to thank everyone for helping out with the Merit session! I think that we did well.

We should now prepare for the Director’s List on Feb 12 (Sunday) which will involve maybe five times as many people.

  1. Since the schedule for the DL is almost the same as the Merit, we will follow the same general flow. I will use the same set of slides. If you wish to edit your section, or have specific suggestions on improvements, please inform me as soon as possible.
  2. Each department should follow-up your own DL students. Your department may need more faculty and students to be present. Please coordinate with Marivi so we can also prepare the correct number for dinner.
  3. I would like to follow-up the arrangements for the dinner program that we discussed during our meeting (emcees, performers, music).
