Gates 2.5 and 3.5 Covered Walkway Project at Ateneo de Manila University

Subject: Gates 2.5 and 3.5 Covered Walkway Project

We are pleased to inform the community on the commencement of the above mentioned project this Saturday, 09 January 2016 . Project duration is 30 days.

Details of the Covered Walkway Project are as follows :

  1. Pedestrian Gate 2.5 connecting to JSEC
  2. Pedestrian Gate 3.5 connecting to Dr. Rosita and Ricardo Leong Hall

During the construction period , the Project Team will ensure consistent monitoring of site premises and work progress for its timely completion. All safety and security measures will be strictly observed in coordination with the Campus Safety and Mobility Office . The construction site will be cordoned off and boarded-up for dust and noise control and for the safety
of pedestrians and vehicles. A temporary walkway with security lights and corresponding safety and directional signs will be put in place for safe pedestrian mobility and efficient traffic management.

You may refer to attached site development plans for reference.

Loyola Schools Faculty day on 15 June 2012

Please be informed that we will have the following schedule for tomorrow’s LS Faculty Day:

  • 8:00 am – Mass at the College Chapel
  • 8:30 – Registration in Leong Hall (No need to sign if you have pre-registered/signed-up.  IDs will be issued at the Registration table)
  • 9:00 – Program in Leong Hall: Introduction of administrators Talk of ADMU President Fr. Jett Villarin, SJ
  • 10:30 – Snack break
  • 11:00 – Talk of VPLS Dr. John Paul Vergara
  • 12:00 – Lunch in Leong Hall Roofdeck
  • 1:30 – Break-out by Schools (SOSE will meet in Escaler Hall.  Talk of Dr. Cathy Vistro-Yu on K-12 program.  Talk of Dr. Banjo Bautista.
  • 3:30 – Merienda (Venue: tentatively SEC B Foyer)

Development Sector Job and Internship Fair at Ateneo de Manila University on Feb 3, 2012

We’d like to ask everyone to support the Development Sector Job and
Internship Fair by encouraging students to visit the Fair at the Leong Hall Roof Deck on Friday, February 3 from 4.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. The Fair will be particularly relevant to graduating seniors, juniors looking for internship placements, and graduates looking for alternative career options.

So far 25 organizations have confirmed their participation and a few more are expected to confirm today and tomorrow.

This fair was organized by the Development Studies Program, the Ateneo Placement Office, and the Development Society
