SOSE Outstanding Student Research in S&T Awards 2017

The SOSE Outstanding Student Research awards celebrate excellence in student research.  This year, 8 entries were submitted for the Undergraduate Basic Research Category, 10 for Undergraduate innovation, 4 for Graduate Basic Research and 3 for Graduate Innovation.
  • Poster Presentations (all entries). Tuesday May 2, 3:00 – 6:00 PM, CTC 413. The students will set up posters, present their work to and answer questions from the judges.  The judges will deliberate at the end of the poster session and choose two finalists from each category.
  • Oral Presentations of the Finalists. Wednesday, May 3 at 4:00 – 5:30 PM. The two finalists in each category will make an oral presentation of their research to the judges, followed by a Q&A. Venue for Undergraduate Finalists:  CTC 414. Venue for Graduate Finalists:  CTC 216.
  • SOSE Outstanding Student Research Awards ceremonies. Friday, May 5 at 5:30 PM. CTC 414. The winners will be announced in a program attended by administrators, students and faculty, and will be awarded certificates and cash prizes.
  • Interlinks 13.0. Friday, May 5, 1:00 – 5:00 PM. CTC 413. This is an annual poster exhibit showcasing the research of  undergraduate and graduate students from all SOSE departments.    Guests from industry, academe and government agencies are invited to view the posters.  This event is organized by the Ateneo Innovation Center.
